Jaipur: A severe dust storm accompanied by rain that swept through Jaipur on Saturday evening disrupted daily life. In the Jaisinghpura Khor area, a high-tension power line snapped and fell onto the road, resulting in the tragic death of a young motorcyclist who came into contact with it.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Yunus (a resident of Kho-Nagoriyan) was riding his motorcycle to Jaisinghpura Khor to meet an acquaintance. Around 8:30 PM, during his journey, he came into contact with the broken high-tension wire. Fearing electrocution, bystanders at the scene could not muster the courage to approach him.

Mukesh Meena, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Jaisinghpura Khor, stated that the incident occurred at 8:30 PM on Saturday. The deceased was riding the motorcycle alone; he had come to Jaisinghpura Khor to meet someone.
Balcony of a two-story house collapses.
Amidst the same dust storm and rain, the balcony of a two-story house in the Jawahar Nagar *Kacchi Basti* (Tila No. 1) area suddenly collapsed. The accident occurred at approximately 10:30 PM. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this incident.
According to local residents, the collapse of the balcony disrupted the power supply in the surrounding area and also damaged electricity meters in several homes. Despite reporting the incident, neither administrative officials nor a team from the electricity department arrived at the scene for nearly an hour. Consequently, residents of about 15 to 20 households were forced to spend the night in darkness.
