Stray Dog Bites Woman at Jaipur Airport Terminal 2

Jaipur: A stray dog ​​attacked a female passenger at Terminal 2 of Jaipur International Airport at around 2:20 pm on Sunday. The woman was injured in the attack and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Attack outside arrival gate

According to airport management, the woman had arrived in Jaipur from Delhi and was exiting the arrival gate when a dog attacked her. It was reported that the dog had already been vaccinated, so there was no serious threat.

Airport administration immediately rushed the injured woman to a nearby private hospital. After first aid, doctors discharged her. Her condition is currently reported to be out of danger.

Eyewitnesses reported

According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the woman exited Terminal 2, a stray dog ​​suddenly attacked her and bit her leg. Immediately after the incident, people present there helped the woman and informed the airport administration.

Such incidents have happened before

This is not the first incident. Previous incidents of stray dogs attacking passengers and members of the public have been reported within the Jaipur airport premises. Despite this, a permanent solution to this problem has not yet been found.

Questions raised about security arrangements

According to Supreme Court guidelines, dogs should be captured, sterilized, and vaccinated before being released at the same location. Although the airport administration has fenced the premises and is capturing and vaccinating the dogs, the presence of stray dogs in the high-security area raises questions about security arrangements.
