Stray dogs menace: 10-year-old boy mauled in Samana

A painful incident took place at around 7 am in the village of Badanpur in Samana. A 10-year-old child was going to get milk when suddenly a pack of stray dogs attacked him.

According to the information received, the dogs bit the child in several places on his neck, ears, and back, seriously injuring him. After the incident, the child was immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital, Samana, where the doctors gave him first aid.

According to the doctors, the child has many injuries on his body, and he is being referred to Patiala for further treatment. The child’s father Rahul, said that he works as a bricklayer and is a resident of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh.

Amritpal Singh, a resident of the area, said that the threat of stray dogs is continuously increasing in this area. People throw dead animals in the nearby dry canal, due to which packs of dogs gather there. Farmers are afraid to go to the fields, and children are also afraid to go out.

Local people have demanded that the administration solve the problem of stray dogs immediately, and that strict action be taken against those who throw dead animals in the canal.
