Students sit outside MLA’s residence in Hansi; Protest over non-receipt of migration

Students from a private nursing college in Narnaund protested in Hansi on Friday against the lack of migration. They sat on a sit-in protest outside the residence of Hansi MLA Vinod Bhayana. Police were deployed for security. DSP Vinod Shankar and SHO Sukhjeet were also present.

Although the MLA is at his residence, the students and farmer leaders have not yet held any direct talks with him. During the protest, farmer leaders Suresh Kotha, Dashrath Malik, Kailash Malik, and Khap representatives also arrived and expressed their support. The leaders warned that if a solution is not found soon, the agitation will be intensified.

The students stated that the MLA had assured them that they would receive their migration letters by Thursday, but they have not yet received them. They had met with the MLA two previous times regarding their migration letters. The students say they will continue their protest until they receive their migration letters.
