Sukhbir Badal Visits Radisson Hotel Owner’s Residence to Offer Condolences on Passing of Madan Lal Kapoor

Jalandhar: Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal visited the residence of Gautam Kapoor, owner of the Radisson Hotel, on Tuesday to personally convey his condolences on the demise of Gautam Kapoor’s father, Shri Madan Lal Kapoor.

The heartfelt visit underscored Badal’s support for the grieving family during this difficult time.

Madan Lal Kapoor, father of Gautam Kapoor, owner of Radisson Hotel, Jalandhar, passed away earlier on January 29, 2026.

Respected social figure Madan Lal Kapoor took his last breath at the age of 95. Born on September 11, 1930, Kapoor was widely regarded as a pillar of the Jalandhar community and a devoted family man whose contributions to business and society left a lasting impact.

He is survived by his sister Praveena Mehta, brother B.M. Kapoor and sister-in-law Sudesh Kapoor, children Gautam Kapoor with Sabina Kapoor and Aradhna Mehta with Manu Mehta, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

The cremation was held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 4 pm at the cremation ground in Model Town, Jalandhar.
