Actor Sunny Deol Presents Bravery Award to LPU Swimming Coach Umesh Sharma for Saving Three Lives

Jalandhar: Swimming coach Umesh Sharma was honoured with a bravery award by actor Sunny Deol and the star cast of the upcoming film Batwara for his exemplary act of courage in saving three people from drowning in 2009.

The felicitation took place at a special event at Lovely Professional University (LPU), where the entire cast and team of Batwara came together to recognise Sharma’s act of bravery.

Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal, Rashmi Mittal, the LPU Vice-Chancellor and other members of the film’s team were present at the event.

Umesh Sharma Felicitated for Act of Courage

Sharma was honoured for his efforts in saving three lives from drowning in 2009. His bravery and presence of mind during the incident were recognised at the special ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said the honour was a moment of immense pride and happiness for him.

He expressed his gratitude to the LPU management and the entire team of Batwara for the recognition, love, respect and encouragement.
