Suspicious Death of Youth in Yamunanagar; Body Found in Courtyard

A case involving the death of a young man under suspicious circumstances has come to light in the Chhachhrauli area of ​​Yamunanagar. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Suraj, a resident of Tapriyan in Balachaur.

Suraj was a father of two children and is reported to have been the only brother to his three sisters. Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning prevails within the family.

According to reports, Suraj’s body was found lying in the courtyard of his home this morning. Upon receiving news of the incident, family members rushed to the scene and filed a complaint with the police, citing the circumstances as suspicious.

Acting on this information, the Chhachhrauli police arrived at the spot, took custody of the body, and sent it to the Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar for a post-mortem examination.

The deceased’s sister, Saroj, stated that Suraj had married in 2022. His immediate family consists of a three-year-old daughter and a three-month-old son. According to Saroj, they received news of her brother’s death in the morning from neighbors. When they arrived at the scene, they found household items scattered about, and Suraj’s body was lying in the courtyard.

According to the family members, during questioning, Suraj’s wife revealed that an argument had taken place between the couple the previous night over some issue. Following this, she took the children and went to sleep in a room. When she came out around 4:00 AM, she found Suraj lying dead in the courtyard.

The deceased’s sister has alleged that the family was not informed about the argument that occurred during the night or about his subsequent death. She further claimed that suspicious marks were found on Suraj’s body, leading them to suspect foul play regarding his death. Currently, the police have initiated an investigation based on the complaint filed by the family.
