Swati Maliwal Assault case: said- I am getting threats of rape and murder; made allegations on YT Dhruv Rathee

New Delhi : Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has made serious allegations against YouTuber Dhruv Rathee on Sunday 26 May. AAP MP said on social media platform X that Dhruv Rathi posted the video against me. After this I am receiving threats of rape and murder.

Swati Maliwal said- Ever since the leaders and volunteers of my party AAP have launched a campaign against me to assassinate my character, incite emotions and embarrass me, I have been receiving rape and death threats.

This has increased further since YouTuber Dhruv Rathee posted a one-sided video against me. People like him claim themselves to be independent journalists. However, they are working like AAP spokespersons.

Controversy over video on Kejriwal’s PA assault case
Actually, Dhruv Rathee had posted a video on Instagram 4 days ago on the assault case between Kejriwal’s PM Bibhav Kumar and Swati Maliwal. On this, Swati Maliwal has said that YouTuber made the video without knowing my side.

Swati wrote in her post – As far as the party is concerned, it is very clear that they are trying to intimidate me into withdrawing my complaint. Although, I tried my best to contact Dhruv to express my side, but he ignored my calls and messages.

AAP MP said- The party tried to defame me
Swati said- He (Dhruv Rathee) has embarrassed me to such an extent that now I am receiving excessive abuses and threats. The way the entire party and its supporters have attempted to defame and embarrass me speaks volumes about their stance on women’s issues.

AAP MP said- I am filing a case against the threats of rape and murder in Delhi Police. I hope they will take strict action against the criminals. If something happens to me, everyone knows who is instigating people.
