Sydney: On December 20, 2024, Sydney police announced that a task force aimed at dismantling organized crime syndicates has arrested 33 individuals and confiscated drugs valued at millions of US dollars. Established in July, Task Force Lupin was created in response to rising tensions among organized crime groups from Asia operating in New South Wales.
