Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann laid the foundation stone of a ₹1,116 crore forging and machining plant by Vardhman Special Steels and Japan's Aichi Steel in Ludhiana, saying the project will boost advanced manufacturing and create over 500 direct jobs.
