Ludhiana: A major alleged cow-smuggling network was busted at Ladhowal Toll Plaza after police recovered around 17 quintals of beef from a Mahindra Jeep headed toward Uttar Pradesh. Two accused were arrested on the spot, while an FIR has been registered against six individuals. The operation was carried out following a tip-off received by Gurpreet.
