Bibi Jagir Kaur, leader of the rebel faction of the Akali Dal, criticized the Punjab Government for its failure to adress law and order issues, the mistreatment of farmers and recent incidents involving police actions.
Charanjit Channi reacted and clarified that he considered Bibi Jagir Kaur as his elder sister and the gesture of first bowing down and touching the chin was out of affection and respect.
