Hyderabad: Key leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) were placed under house arrest in Hyderabad on Friday as they prepared to protest against the arrests of their MLAs and other members. Among those detained were Member of Legislative Council K. Kavitha and former minister T. Harish Rao. The opposition party had organized the protest.
