New Delhi: French farmers on Thursday drove tractors into the heart of Paris to protest against the European Union’s proposed EU–Mercosur Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Defying police blockades, several tractors reached iconic locations such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, turning the protest into a powerful visual statement. The French Interior Ministry said.
