Chandigarh: The Punjab Cabinet has approved the filing of a corruption case against former minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, paving the way for legal action. The Vigilance Bureau had registered an FIR in June 2022, which revealed that Dharamsot allegedly accepted bribes amounting to ₹1.67 crore. The state government also confirmed that proceedings will be initiated.
