Surat: Four contractual workers tragically lost their lives in a fire at the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) plant in Hazira, Surat, on the evening of January 1. The incident occurred when burning coal unexpectedly spilled, igniting a fire in one area of the facility. The victims were on a lift at the time.
