Mumbai: In a significant operation against gold smuggling, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Mumbai arrested a Chadian national upon arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) from Addis Ababa, after recovering 4,015 grams of gold valued at Rs 3.86 crore hidden inside his slippers. Following credible intelligence, DRI officers screened the passenger shortly.
