Pakistan has imposed a state of emergency and governor’s rule in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), following presidential approval of recommendations submitted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s federal cabinet.
