Jalandhar: District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar Vishesh Sarangal has fixed the timing of bursting of firecrackers on Dussehra, Diwali, Gurupurva, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The District Magistrate, in exercise of powers under Section 144, has issued an order that no person, other than an authorized person, within the limits of Jalandhar district shall be able.
