Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP president Sunetra Pawar on Saturday forwarded the resignation submitted to her by the state party’s women wing chief Rupali Chakankar as Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for further action. Chakankar had resigned following the CM’s directive on Friday amid escalating controversy.
