New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Power has announced plans to invest Rs 9.12 lakh crore to enhance the power transmission infrastructure in India by 2031-32, as stated by Minister of State for Power Shripad Yesso Naik in the Rajya Sabha. The National Electricity Plan (Transmission) aims to add 1.91 lakh kilometers of transmission lines.
