Dehradun: The Chamoli district administration in Uttarakhand, following orders from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has initiated dredging work in the Pindar River to safeguard the town of Tharali. The goal is to channelize the river by dredging 1280 meters of its banks to prevent flooding in the area. This action comes after heavy rains.
