The Excise Department has confiscated 175 boxes of English Liquor (IMFL) valued at approximately Rs 5 lakh, which were being illegally transported into Punjab from Chandigarh. Excise Officer of the Ropar Range, Shekhar, reported that acting on the directions of Punjab Excise Commissioner IAS Varun Ruzam and Deputy Commissioner (Excise) of Patiala Zone, Udaideep Singh.
