Chandigarh, April 6: The sudden change in the weather which caused unseasonal rain, hailstorms and strong winds have caused major damage to crops across Punjab, especially in the Malwa region. Wheat crops, which were almost ready for harvest have been badly affected with reports suggesting significant losses in many districts. Government Orders Crop Survey (Girdawari).
