Sachin Kurmi, a leader from the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), was killed in the Byculla area of Mumbai last night. The Mumbai Police reported that Kurmi was attacked with a sharp weapon by unidentified individuals behind the MHADA colony around 12:30 AM. Upon receiving notification of the incident, police arrived.
