    Centre Tightens Rules on High Alcohol Medicines; Prescription, Licence Now Mandatory

    The Central government has tightened regulations on medicinal formulations containing high levels of ethyl alcohol. Such medicines will now require licences for manufacture and sale and can only be dispensed on a doctor's prescription.
