New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Tuesday released “The Telecommunication Interconnection (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2026” which will come into effect from January 1, 2027. Interconnection in telecommunications refers to the technical, operational, and commercial arrangements that connect two or more telecom networks, allowing telecommunications traffic to flow between them and enabling.
