New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ordered maintenance of status quo on construction activities allegedly being carried out in the Yamuna river channel in Uttar Pradesh’s Vrindavan, saying its primary concern was to ensure that the ecological flow of the river is maintained. A Bench of Justices J.B. Pardiwala and K.V. Viswanathan passed the direction.
