Taranjit Sandhu meets BJP Chief Nitin Nabin, exchanges views on key issues

New Delhi: Veteran Indian diplomat and former Ambassador to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Wednesday, holding discussions on issues of national importance and shared priorities.

Following the meeting, Sandhu in a post on X, saying it was a pleasure meeting Nitin Nabin and that they had a meaningful exchange on key issues of importance and shared priorities.

He also congratulated Nabin on his recent appointment as the BJP’s national president.

Pertinent to mention Taranjit Sandhu has served as India’s Ambassador to the United States and earlier as Ambassador to Sri Lanka. During his diplomatic career, Sandhu played a significant role in strengthening India’s strategic, economic, and defence ties with major global partners.

Nitin Nabin, who recently took charge as BJP national president, is seen as a key organisational figure within the party. His appointment comes at a time when the BJP is preparing for crucial electoral battles and focusing on consolidating its political and organisational strategy nationwide.
