20-year-old girl dies in police station; Victim’s family accuses police administration

The body of 20-year-old Rajbir Kaur, who was arrested in the murder case that took place in Kalsian Kalan village of Tarn Taran district recently, has been recovered from the bathroom of the police station. According to the police, the girl hanged herself with her own hair in the bathroom. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the matter after the incident.

Let us tell you that due to a domestic dispute in Kalsian Kalan village, one party attacked the other party with bricks and stones. Meanwhile, a person died after being hit on the head with a brick. The deceased was 70 years old. While taking action in this case, the police registered a case against some members of the attacker’s family and a girl, Rajbir Kaur, who is 20 years old. They were kept in police custody. It has now been learned that she has died.

Victim’s family accuses police

The family members of the deceased made serious allegations against the police administration and said that something must have happened to their daughter. But she cannot do anything like this herself. They were not even allowed to meet her for the last 4 days, and now such information has been received. Due to this, the victim’s family has demanded justice.

No torture of any kind – Police Station Chief

On this occasion, Police Station Chief Harpreet Singh said that the girl had said that she was going to the washroom, but what did they know that she would commit suicide? Appropriate action and investigation are being taken on whatever matter has come to light. The police have not inflicted any kind of torture on them.
