Tarn Taran: Punjab Police, in two different operations in the border districts of Tarn Taran and Amritsar have recovered arms and ammunition and Heroin and have arrested three persons involved in this smuggling act.

In a joint operation with BSF, the Tarn Taran Police seized 8 sophisticated weapons including one MP-09 submachine gun. One accused has been arrested.

Whereas, in Amritsar, 10 kilogram of Heroin has been confiscated from two accused. Police are investigating to find linkages in these cross-border arms and drugs smuggling networks.
