    Tata Consultancy Services Nashik Case: Accused Nida Khan seeks anticipatory bail, claims pregnancy

    Mumbai/Nashik: Nida Khan, accused in the alleged harassment and religious conversion case related to a BPO, has moved the court seeking anticipatory bail. According to her lawyer, she is currently in Mumbai and her plea may be heard in a Nashik court.

    Nida Khan, who has been absconding since the case surfaced, has also claimed that she is pregnant.

    8 people arrested so far

    Eight people have been arrested so far in this case. The arrested accused include Danish Shaikh, Tausif Attar, Raza Memon, Shahrukh Qureshi, Shafi Shaikh, Asif Aftab Ansar, Shahrukh Shaikh, and the operations head of the BPO unit.

    Allegations of Harassment and Conversion
    Nida Khan, who worked as a telemarketer at a BPO, is accused of discouraging a female employee from filing a complaint regarding harassment and alleged religious conversion.

    According to reports, she told the victim that “such things happen” and allegedly sided with the accused.

    Investigation underway, SIT formed
    Several employees have alleged mental and sexual harassment in this case, following which a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed.

    N. Chandrasekaran has described these allegations as “serious and worrying” and said that a detailed investigation is underway.

    According to officials, the investigation is ongoing and all complaints are being thoroughly examined.
