Bangkok: A deadly school shooting near Bangkok in Thailand left seven people dead, including a teacher, after a student allegedly opened fire on the school premises. The student gunman later died by suicide, while at least 15 others were injured in the incident, according to reports.

The shooting took place at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province, located on the northwestern outskirts of Bangkok. According to police, the attacker was a student enrolled at the school.

Teacher killed, four others injured

Police said one teacher was killed in the attack, while another teacher and three students sustained injuries. Emergency services rushed to the school, where the injured were provided medical assistance before being taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
