Temperature rises gradually in Punjab, light fog expected in plain areas

Temperatures in Punjab have increased over the past 24 hours. Temperatures had been falling for a few days, but now they have begun to rise gradually. The Meteorological Center predicts that temperatures will continue to rise at this rate for the next few days. However, there will be no significant change in temperatures after about three days. The rise is due to the western disturbance not being active and the absence of rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures may increase by 1 to 2 degrees in the coming three days. The minimum temperature has been below normal for the past few days, but after the increase, it will return to normal. Winds are still blowing from the mountains, but their speed is very slow – currently gusting at 2 to 4 km per hour in Punjab. Due to this, light fog is expected to develop in the plains in the coming days.

Temperatures in the state have increased by 1 degree
Temperatures in Punjab have increased over the past 24 hours. Yesterday, the state’s minimum temperature saw a rise of 1 degree. After which the temperature has reached close to normal. Whereas the minimum temperature of Faridkot in the state had reached 5 degrees on Monday, it increased by 1.2 degrees to 6.2 degrees on Tuesday.

At the same time, the maximum temperature was found to have increased by 0.5 degrees on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature of Faridkot was recorded at 29.2 degrees. In the coming days, there will be an increase in the minimum and maximum temperatures.
