Temperature rises in Punjab; no rain expected for two weeks

Temperatures in Punjab continue to rise. Over the past week, temperatures have risen by 1 to 2 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that there will be no significant change in temperatures in the coming week, meaning they will neither rise nor fall significantly. However, there seems to be no relief from pollution in sight.

According to the Meteorological Center, there is no possibility of rain in the next two weeks, resulting in dry weather. The air quality, which has deteriorated since October, remains the same. Environmental experts believe that a lack of wind flow has created an airlock. Relief for city dwellers is expected only after rain.

Maximum temperature again crosses 30 degrees
According to the Meteorological Center, the state’s maximum temperature has increased by 0.1 degrees. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Bathinda, where the temperature reached 30.3 degrees.

Additionally, Amritsar recorded a maximum temperature of 25.5 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana 26.9 degrees Celsius, Patiala 27.5 degrees Celsius, Pathankot 26.5 degrees Celsius, Faridkot 27 degrees Celsius, and Gurdaspur 23 degrees Celsius.

The state’s average minimum temperature remained unchanged. Faridkot recorded a minimum temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius.
