In a Major update in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, police sources are alleging that his fiancée, Siya Goyal, took nearly Rs 1 crore from him in the name of wedding preparations before transferring the money to her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary.

   2. Indian Passport Application Fee to Increase from July 1

The Ministry of External Affairs has raised charges for passport-related services which will make getting a passport more expensive with effect from July 1, 2026. The increased fee structure will be applicable for fresh passport applications, renewals, Tatkaal services, replacement of lost or damaged passports, police clearance certificates (PCC) and other passport-linked services.

The two leaders are expected to represent the Government of India at the state funeral, which will be held in Iran between July 5 and July 9.

On June 29, 2026, a boundary wall at the under-construction Aravali Palace resort in Amer, Rajasthan, suddenly collapsed. The accident occurred near Talamod in the Chandwaji area, claiming the lives of three workers—two women and one man—while leaving three others injured. The collapse happened while repairs to a sewerage pit were underway, raising concerns about construction safety at the site.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib has ordered the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab to amend the sacrilege law Jagat Jyot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Reception (Amendment) Act-2026 within a month. During the hearing held on Monday (June 29), Akal Takht Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj raised 6 objections to the law.
