13 year old girl Raped in patiala, mother discovers her at accused’s residence

Patiala: Another shameful incident has come to light in Punjab. Following Jalandhar, a 13-year-old girl has been raped in Patiala. In Sanaur, a town adjacent to Patiala, the 13-year-old girl was tied up and raped. Based on a complaint from the girl’s mother, the Sanaur police station has registered a case against Sachin, a resident of Fatehpur Chowk in Sanaur, under sections 64, 127 (3), and 6 of the POCSO Act.

As Per Mother’s Complaint

The girl’s mother told the police that her daughter, who was 13 years old, had gone to work in the fields as usual. When she did not return home by evening, the complainant’s son informed her that he had seen her at Sachin’s house. When the girl’s mother went to Sachin’s house, the house was locked. Upon opening the lock, she found her daughter inside. The girl’s mother brought the girl home. The girl told her mother that Sachin had lured her home under some pretense, bound her hands and feet, and raped her. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
