Chandigarh: Citing a tweet shared by Delhi CM and AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has hailed him for bringing transparent and honest politics to the nation.

Earlier CM Kejriwal shared a report which stated how plants in Punjab are fuelled by their own coal and running in profit. The report said that Punjab power units have reported profit of Rs 564 crores in the quarter ending September 2023.

Along with the report, Kejriwal said, “Till now some families used to loot all the money of Punjab. The public was helpless. Ever since the honest government of Aam Aadmi Party has come, the system has started changing rapidly. These people have looted for 75 years. It will take time. But everything will be fine.”

Responding to Kejriwal’s tweet, CM Mann said, “Arvind Kejriwal ji has lighted the lamp of honest and transparent politics in the country and Punjab has been illuminated from the light of that lamp…This is how Punjab will become a hero.”

He also indicated that AAP is going to win all 13 seats of Punjab and said “This time 13-0 Inqlaab Zindabaad.”
