A thrilling glimpse of Tiger ST-21 and a leopard at the Sariska Safari

Rajasthan: Thursday evening’s jungle safari at the Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar was a memorable one for tourists. The sudden appearance of Tiger ST-21 on the safari track sparked a wave of excitement and thrill among the visitors. In the quiet atmosphere of the forest, when the tiger emerged from the bushes and appeared directly in front of the jeep, everyone’s breath stopped for a few moments.

On Thursday’s evening shift, about 50 tourists were on their way to the jungle safari in six jeeps. As the vehicles approached the Kalan Kuan area, Tiger ST-21 emerged from the bushes and onto the safari track. The guides immediately responded to the situation and stopped the vehicles. For safety reasons, the jeeps were pulled back slightly to allow the tiger to move forward naturally. Many tourists captured this rare moment with their mobile phones and cameras.

The tiger wandered along the track for a while, then leisurely moved back into the forest. This spectacular sight thrilled everyone participating in the safari.

The tourists’ excitement increased after the glimpse of the tiger. Then, as the gypsies moved towards the Ghanka area, another exciting sight was witnessed. A leopard was seen sitting on a high branch of a tree. The tourists were watching it carefully when the gypsies’ voices alerted it.

In a few moments, it agilely climbed down the tree and ran rapidly towards the forest. It seemed as if it was searching for prey. This swift movement of the leopard surprised everyone present.

It is considered extremely rare to catch a glimpse of both a tiger and a leopard during the same safari. This double sighting made the tourists’ experience even more special. The Sariska forest once again filled with excitement and enthusiasm with the magnificent presence of its wildlife.

According to Forest Department officials, such sightings are part of wildlife’s natural behavior, and it is crucial to follow safety rules during the safari.
