Tijara accident: truck overturns on car, 1 dead

In Tijara area, on Thursday evening, a terrible road accident claimed the life of one person, while another was seriously injured. Near Neemli village under Jerauli police station, an uncontrollable container truck overturned onto a car.

The deceased has been identified as Balraj Sethi (63) from Firozpur Jhirka. The injured, Vipin Jain, was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram, where his condition remains critical.

According to the police, Balraj Sethi and Vipin Jain were going from Firozpur Jhirka to visit the Jain temple in Tijara. Upon reaching near Neemli village, a container truck coming from the opposite direction became uncontrollable and overturned onto their car.

The collision was so severe that the car was completely damaged, and both people got trapped in it. With the help of local villagers, Vipin Jain was pulled out of the car and taken to the hospital. It took quite some time to rescue Balraj Sethi, and by then he had passed away.

Upon receiving the information about the incident, Jerauli Police Station In-Charge Mahendra Singh Yadav, along with his team, reached the spot. The deceased’s body has been kept at Tijara Sub-District Hospital, where the post-mortem will be conducted on Friday. After the accident, the container driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. The police have registered a case and started an investigation, and the search for the driver is ongoing.
