Agartala: Members of the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) were sworn in as elected representatives of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) on Sunday at Khumulwng, marking the formal constitution of the new tribal council following the recent elections.

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted at the TTAADC headquarters, where newly elected members took charge in the presence of officials and party supporters.

BJP Stays Away From Ceremony

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) boycotted the swearing-in event, alleging corruption and irregularities in recruitment by the outgoing TTAADC administration. BJP leaders claimed that appointments were made without transparency and proper procedures.
