A shocking incident has emerged from Rajasthan’s Tonk district, where an imam allegedly set a man on fire inside a mosque, triggering panic in the area and prompting a major police investigation. The incident took place in Kalmanda village under the Diggi police station limits, raising serious concerns over safety and the circumstances leading to the attack.

According to initial reports, the accused imam poured petrol on the victim and set him ablaze inside the mosque premises shortly before prayers.

The victim, identified as Hakeem Pinjara, sustained severe burn injuries in the attack. He was initially rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur due to the seriousness of his condition.
