Tragic accident in Rewari: Thar jumps divider, rams into truck; three died

Near the Kund barrier on the Jaisalmer National Highway, a speeding Thar vehicle jumped the divider and collided with a truck traveling in the opposite lane. The driver and two other young men died on the spot. Police sent the bodies to the Government Hospital for post-mortem.

Thar collides with truck in the opposite lane 

On Friday night, Sarjeet and Chetan, both in their 40s and residents of Sei village in Chirawa, Rajasthan, were traveling towards Rewari in a Thar vehicle. After crossing the Kathuwas toll plaza, the vehicle lost balance, jumped the divider, and collided with a truck traveling in the opposite lane. The Thar also broke a pole on the divider.

The front portion of the vehicle was severely damaged in the accident. The two young men were trapped inside. Bystanders pulled them out of the vehicle and rushed them to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. The truck driver fled the scene.
