Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh: In a heartbreaking incident, a young man from Sultanpur committed suicide after the sudden death of his girlfriend. The couple had been in a relationship for three years, and the tragedy has left the local community in shock.

Girlfriend Dies in Road Accident

On February 25, 2026, 25-year-old Arpita, a resident of Ghatampur North village, was involved in a road accident. She was traveling to the market with her brother when a car collided with their bike, killing her instantly. Arpita worked at a local clothing store, where she had met Vineet, her boyfriend of three years.

Vineet Devastated

Vineet, the youngest of three brothers and a fourth-grade student by education, was deeply affected by the news. According to his brother, Swamit, Vineet rushed to see Arpita one last time at her house but fainted upon realizing the reality of her death. He was brought back home by his family, visibly distraught.
