Tragic road accident in Alwar: Bus-truck collision on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, 3 dead, 33 injured

Alwar: A horrific road accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Alwar district of Jaipur, Rajasthan, around 5:00 am on Tuesday. Three people, including the bus driver, were killed in the accident, while 33 passengers were injured.

31 of the injured have been referred to Alwar for better treatment, many of whom are said to be in critical condition. According to information, the accident occurred near the Channel 100 interchange culvert in the Pinan area.

Bus traveling from Indore to Delhi collides with truck

A passenger bus traveling from Indore to Delhi collided with a truck carrying chemicals. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the bus was completely damaged.

Traffic on the expressway was disrupted for some time after the accident.

Screams and cries erupt at the scene, relief and rescue operations begin

After the collision, chaos and cries erupted at the scene. Most passengers were asleep when a loud explosion suddenly woke them up.

Police immediately arrived at the scene and, with the help of local residents, began relief and rescue operations. The injured were pulled from the debris and taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.

Family in deep grief, investigation underway

The deceased include the bus driver, his wife, and son. The bodies of all three have been kept in the mortuary at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Raini.

The bus had left Indore for Delhi at around 9 pm. Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. All the injured are undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Alwar.
