Truck collides with bike in Amritsar; Man dies on the spot

A tragic road accident in Ajnala, Amritsar, has shocked the entire area. The accident occurred on Chogawan Road in Ajnala, where a man died on the spot. The deceased was a resident of the village of Miyadiyan and worked as a stonemason in Harike Port, a town in Tarn Taran district. As usual, he was returning home after work, but who knew that this would prove to be his last journey.

The deceased’s nephew, Akashdeep, said that he was returning home from Harike Port with his father and uncle on a motorcycle. All three were riding on the same motorcycle.

Truck hits motorcycle from behind on Chogawan Road

When they reached Chogawan Road, a speeding truck coming from behind hit the motorcycle from the side. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle lost balance, and his uncle fell onto the road. Unfortunately, he was directly hit by the truck’s wheels and died instantly.

Police are investigating.

After the accident, there was chaos at the scene, and passersby immediately informed the police. A police team arrived at the scene, assessed the situation, and took the truck and driver into custody. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and a case has been registered and an investigation has been initiated.
