What is chronic venous insufficiency, which Trump suffers from
Chronic venous insufficiency is a condition in which the veins have trouble carrying blood from the legs back to the heart. This problem occurs when the valves in the veins do not work properly, causing blood to collect in the legs and causing swelling, pain, and skin changes.
Usually this problem occurs in people above 50 years of age. 10 to 35% adults in the world have this problem. In India too, one in every three adults has chronic venous insufficiency, while its symptoms are seen in severe form in 4-5% people. In these, this condition has taken the form of ulcers.
