Trump Nominated for Nobel Prize

The right to propose the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize is vested in members of a country’s parliament, current heads of state, university professors of history, social sciences, law, and philosophy, and Nobel Peace Prize laureates. The names of proposers are kept confidential for fifty years, but information still leaks out. Reports indicate that leaders from Cambodia, Israel, and Pakistan have proposed Donald Trump for this year’s Nobel Prize. If the nomination is submitted by the deadline, it will be accepted for consideration.

Out of 287 proposed names for the Nobel Peace Prize, 208 individuals and 79 organizations have been nominated. It is surprising that Trump’s name has been proposed for this award. Cambodia, Israel and Pakistan are in favor of proposing Trump’s name. The surprising thing is that conflicts are increasing in the world and international cooperation is decreasing. The importance of the United Nations is diminishing, yet 287 names have been proposed. Trump started wanting the Nobel Peace Prize when he held himself responsible for stopping the India-Pakistan war. He has claimed about 60 times that if he had not intervened, thousands of people would have died in the India-Pakistan war.

Trump invokes the name of peace, but his policies are at the forefront of violating humanity. Trump’s policies are responsible for plunging the world into war. Trump’s policies are also responsible for plunging Iran, Israel, and Lebanon into war. Trump has declared a tariff war in addition to a military war. Trump also bears the responsibility for disrupting the global economy. In such a situation, the question arises: can the Nobel Peace Prize, which is still relevant today, be awarded to undeserving individuals? This issue should be seriously considered.

Trump is still employing such tactics that he pretends to hold peace talks but desires to destroy Iran. If the intentions to establish peace are not flawed, there is no reason to prevent it. We believe that only influential countries in the world, not Trump, can stop the Gulf War. So, isn’t it a contradiction that Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize?
