Faridabad Gang Rape Case: Two Accused Arrested

Faridabad: Haryana Police on Wednesday arrested two accused who are accused of kidnapping a woman on the pretext of giving her a lift and then gang-raping her in a moving van between Monday and Tuesday night.

According to reports, the woman was looking for a ride home when a van stopped and two young men in the vehicle lured her into the vehicle, promising to drop her home. They then took her towards Gurugram Road.
When the woman resisted, the accused beat her and gang-raped her for nearly two hours. They then pushed her out of the moving van near SGM Nagar and fled.

Seriously Injured Victim Admitted to Hospital
The woman suffered serious injuries to her face and head. Doctors had to stitch her face. Upon receiving the information, the family immediately rushed to Civil Hospital, Faridabad. After receiving initial treatment, she was admitted to a private hospital for better treatment. Given her condition, doctors also referred her to AIIMS, Delhi.

The victim’s sister stated that at around 12:00 a.m., she was looking for a vehicle to return home, but when she couldn’t find any, she accepted a lift offered by the accused.

CCTV Footage Leads to Arrest of Accused
The police have registered an FIR and begun investigation. After reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras, they apprehended both accused.

Both accused are originally from Madhya Pradesh and were living in Faridabad.
The police say the investigation is ongoing and further information will be shared soon.
