UAE suspends all trade, finance deals with Iran after missile attack

New Delhi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended all trade, commercial transactions, and financial activities with Iran until further notice. The UAE Foreign Ministry announced this on Wednesday.

This decision comes at a time of heightened tensions in the region.

Major decision after missile incident

The UAE Defense Ministry reported that two ballistic missiles fired from Iran were detected. According to the UAE, both missiles were aimed at maritime traffic and subsequently fell into the sea.

However, Iran has rejected these claims by the UAE, calling them baseless.

Doors open for dialogue

Despite the suspension of trade and financial activities, the UAE stated that it remains committed to dialogue, cooperation, and regional integration for peace and stability in the region.

This decision is likely to further strain economic and diplomatic relations between the UAE and Iran.
